How to delete Exchange email on HTC Touc Pro2?

Many users have trouble deleting an Exchange emaila ccount – when they go to Tools they see the delete option grayed out:

And can’t delete the account.

The correct steps are:

1) Start

2) ActiveSync

Htc-touch-pro2-activesync-delete

3) Menu -> Options

4) Select Microsoft Exchange and hit delete
