Many users have trouble deleting an Exchange emaila ccount – when they go to Tools they see the delete option grayed out:
And can’t delete the account.
The correct steps are:
1) Start
2) ActiveSync
3) Menu -> Options
4) Select Microsoft Exchange and hit delete
Soft reset:
Occasionally, you may need to reset your device. A soft (or normal) reset of your device clears all active program memory and shuts down all active programs. This can be useful when your device is running slower than normal, or a program is not performing properly. A soft reset is also necessary after the installation of some programs. If a soft reset is performed when programs are running, unsaved work will be lost. To perform a soft reset:
1. Use the stylus to lightly press and hold the RESET button on the left side of your device. The device restarts and displays the Today screen.
Hard reset:
1. Press and hold the Comm Manager button and Voice Command button on the device.
2. Keep the two buttons pressed, and at the same time, use the stylus to lightly press and hold the RESET button.
